The Fantastic Beasts film series is a prequel series to the “Harry Potter” films, based on a book by J.K. Rowling, and tells the story of Newt Scamander and his adventures in the 1920s wizarding world, also exploring the rise of Grindelwald. The series includes three films (2016-2022) and was originally planned for five, but its future is uncertain. The series is known for depicting the wizarding world before Harry Potter.
